The 210 Select Fission is a special package designed for the family wakeboard and watersports enthusiast. One of the first things you notice about the Fission model is the new beefed-up folding wakeboard tower with integral Sunbrella Bimini top and special Fission edition hull graphics. This 21-foot bowrider is also decked out with the most important watersports features, such as a ski mirror, SmartCraft Smart Tow digital speed control and, of course, a high-performance stereo package with dash and transom remote controls. The bow area features a boarding ladder and front seats with cushioned armrests and storage beneath. The passenger console features a large insulated cooler and a walk-through door that can close off the bow area. A large, lockable wakeboard storage compartment keeps your gear safe, out of the way and ready for action. The pilot and copilot seats swivel and slide, and offer flip-up bolsters for the ideal position. The helm features power-assisted tilt steering, full premium instrumentation and controls for the stereo and SmartCraft right on the steering wheel. The 210 Select Fission's rear cockpit seat folds up and locks to create a backrest for the large sunpad - the ideal place to dry off, get some sun or prepare for your next run. An integrated, extended swim platform features rubber inserts for security and comfort, and conceals a boarding ladder. The aft port seat opens up to create a walkthrough to the cockpit, and there is plenty of rear storage for personal gear and equipment. Two-tone gelcoat, a special edition silver and chrome interior vinyl package and blue LED cockpit lights add a touch of class. Our performance tests of the 210 Select Fission showed a planing time of 4.7 seconds, and we reached 30 mph in 8.7 seconds. Top end with our test boat's standard 300 hp MerCruiser 350 Mag/Bravo III was 52 mph. Those wanting to squeeze every bit of playtime out of the 40-gallon fuel tank should cruise around 28.4 mph, where we recorded almost 3.6 mpg. -
